It's a New Year.....Let The Blogging Begin.......

So after almost a year of stalking blogs I finally decided to take a step out into cyberworld and create my own. I have to admit I was a little hesitant to put my life out there. On the internet. For all the observe. But then I realized that most people don't give a damn about my life and this would really be a way for me to chronicle what's going on with me and an outlet for my frustrations with everyday life. So with that here we go!

So who am I? Let's go with the general introductory material. I'm currently 32 (yes I hated my birthday this year -- for some reason that number just sounds old. 30 was a breeze. 31 came and went unnoticed. But 32 -- WHOA!). I'm an attorney at a large firm in Chicago. I'm married. No kids. Actually, I'm pretty set on not having kids; however, the Mr. now that's a different story. I'm certain this will become a hotly contested subject in our household and has already been the subject of many debates but we're trying to work through it.

Last year was a difficult year at our house. We had to put down our cat of 20 years. Well, my cat of 20 years. C didn't come into the cat's life until 10 years ago. It was a hard hard thing to do but she was in pain and it was time. With the coming of the new year we have since gotten a new kitten, Bentley. We'll talk more about him later but let's suffice it to say that he was a rescue kitten and is not quite used to us.

But none of that really tells anyone who you are does it? Let's try again shall we? I am a type A (occassionally OCD) workaholic in every sense of the word...I love what I do. I'm loud and opinionated (even when I don't tell you what's on my mind -- guarenteed I have an opinion about it. I've just finally learned, after 32 years, when to keep my mouth shut). I work hard but I play hard too. I have recently taken up running and although I don't have much speed, I find it incredibly therapeutic. I'm ridiculously loyal and will stand by my friends through anything. With that being said I have an incredible ability to hold a grudge (blame my birthdate I'm a scorpio). All of this should make for some interesting reading for any who follow this.
